Mariner’s Stow is an entryway furniture piece that explores material recovery through craft and restraint. It combines solid wood with ocean-reclaimed fishing netting, treating discarded material not as an accent, but as a structural and visual core of the object.

Mariner’s Stow is constructed from reclaimed cherry, recycled brass fittings, and textiles sourced from retired sails and nautical upholstery. The piece brings together traditional woodworking with salvaged marine materials, emphasizing durability, reuse, and quiet material honesty.

Brass captive pins hold the textile under tension, suspending it cleanly between the wooden frame. The detail introduces control and precision to an otherwise soft, flexible element.
